On One Health Day, observed every year on 3 November, WHO/Europe will convene a high-level dialogue in Brussels with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, United Nations Environment Programme and World Organisation for Animal Health, alongside European institutions, technical agencies and strategic partners.
The event will explore how political commitment to One Health can be translated into coordinated action across human, animal, plant and environmental health. Discussions will focus on governance, investment, surveillance, preparedness and response to emerging and cross-border threats, including vector-borne diseases.
The dialogue will highlight the role of the Regional One Health Coordination Mechanism in advancing implementation across the European Region and Central Asia and will promote closer collaboration between the Quadripartite and European Union partners.
This event is co-funded by the European Union through the EU4Health programme.
