This Web Annex accompanies the report Gender pay gap in the health and care sector in the WHO European Region: evidence brief. It provides details on the labour market attributes and characteristics included in the decomposition analysis of the gender pay gap. It summarizes the variables used to examine differences in earnings between women and men working in the health and care sector, including endowment, job attributes, workplace characteristics and personal characteristics. This Web Annex is intended to support transparency and the reproducibility and interpretation of the findings reported in the main report.
