Strategic priority 3: Health security preparedness

Between 2023 and 2027 WHO will support the Government of Indonesia to prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from public health emergencies. 

Working with national authorities, WHO will assist in developing and implementing national policies, strategies and guidelines to strengthen emergency preparedness and response capacities. 

This support will focus on improving disease surveillance, laboratory systems, health workforce capacity and coordination across sectors and agencies.
